Aryell King - Class of 2023, Sequoyah Jr. Lady Chiefs

If it's not already, Aryell's middle name should be toughness. Based on her production in the dirtywork areas of a game, size is not measured when you are selfishly getting steals, offensive and defensive rebounds, loose balls and blocking shots. High motor with great anticipation. And have we forgotten offense? The opponent won't when the three pointers continue to swish in combination with hard drives at any given time.

Elle Blatchford - Class of 2023, Sequoyah Jr. Lady Chiefs

METICULOUS attention to personal training and gametime preparation. Consistent elbow in, target focused, high release and follow through all net action on shots. Changes speeds naturally and effortlessly and reads the floor well in spread offenses. Cannot be sandboxed as a 1 or 2 - plays both well, rotationally and as needed. Needs more patience on the first freethrow - the second one is always all net. Very active defensively and stays in front of opponent.

Crystal Henderson - Class of 2023, Kell Jr. Lady Longhorns

Division 1 basketball bloodlines -- are sure to continue. Quick first step makes penetration deceptively easy. Shoots efectively from anywhere on the court at any time. Dropped 60 points in the CCJBC as a 7th grader. Cannot be pressured or flustered. Active defensively by moving hands and feet while maintaining defensive positon. A good number of future choices await for this point guard who annually plays shoe company sponsored AAU basketball.

Monet Dance - Class of 2023, Cherokee Jr. Lady Warriors

Point guard who plays with the basketball on a string. Can create a series of rapid fire, speed changing moves that make it impossible to stay in front of her. If you are a teammate and you are open, Monet has already seen and gifted you in her mind one play ahead. Nice midrange floater. Energetic. Colleges already have her name on the board.

Tianna Thompson - Class of 2024, Pebblebrook

A rangy, steady ballhandling distributor, with the capability to finish in traffic on a consistent basis using a good burst of speed. Penetrates deliberately and fearlessly with the ability to adjust, float, assist or use her height and midrange game all while keeping her head up to her advantage. Leadership skills aplenty in both 7th and 8th grade competition. Will get stronger and eventually will add range to an already nice 3 point shot.
